Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our clinic, treatments, and care.
What should I expect during my first consultation?
During your first consultation, Dr Farah Iqbal will perform a comprehensive skin assessment, discuss your aesthetic goals, and review your medical history. She will then create a personalized treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.
Are aesthetic treatments painful?
Most aesthetic treatments involve minimal discomfort. For injectables and laser procedures, we often use a topical numbing cream or cooling devices to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during the process.
How long do Botox results last?
Generally, the effects of Botox injections can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Results vary depending on the individual's metabolism, muscle activity, and the area treated. Regular maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain the effects.
What is the difference between Botox and Dermal Fillers?
Botox works by relaxing the underlying muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles (like frown lines). Dermal fillers, on the other hand, use hyaluronic acid to plump up the skin, fill in static wrinkles, and restore lost volume to areas like the cheeks and lips.
Is Laser Hair Removal safe for all skin types?
Yes, we use advanced medical-grade laser technology that is highly customizable and safe for a wide range of skin types, including darker skin tones common in Pakistan. A consultation is required to assess your suitability.
How much downtime is required after a Chemical Peel?
Downtime depends on the depth of the peel. Light peels may cause mild redness and flaking for a few days, while medium peels may require up to a week of recovery as the skin sheds. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions based on your specific treatment.
What makes HydraFacial different from a regular facial?
HydraFacial uses a patented vortex-fusion delivery system to cleanse, extract impurities, and deeply hydrate the skin with specialized serums. It provides more consistent, deeper results than manual extractions and leaves the skin glowing with zero downtime.
How does PRP Therapy work for hair loss?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy involves drawing a small amount of your blood, spinning it to concentrate the growth factors, and injecting it into the scalp. This stimulates dormant hair follicles, encouraging new growth and increasing hair thickness.
Are treatments safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
As a precaution, most aesthetic treatments, including injectables (Botox, fillers) and laser therapies, are generally not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. We advise waiting until after this period to pursue these treatments.
